Press Box Report

It’s a little late but better late than never, so let’s get right into it..

#1 Indy Bison (4-0) vs #2 Bird Gang (4-0)

This is a matchup most have been waiting on since before the season started and now it is here, battle of the undefeated, the implications are that one team will still be undefeated. Both teams are in first place in their respective conferences and will remain that way for the most part no matter what the outcome of this game is.

Some have the Bird Gang winning this game and it being a start of the Bison losing streak and self-destruction, however even if the Bison loose I still feel that they will be continuing to roll through the teams in the conference.

It has been quiet since the week of the Raiders game for the Bison, not much chatter on the social media which is kind of odd, but maybe that is the new style for the Bison the calm before the storm and no more getting into the heads of the opponents? Could this be a start of a new approach for them? We shall see if they win, we know they will be there usual selves, if they lose, they might just stay quiet, but we know if that happens then two in a row will be heard around the league.

#3 LCW (3-1) vs #10 Indy Assassins (0-4)*

I am still very hopeful that the Assassin’s will be able to make the trip to play LCW this week and are back on track to the season after a few rough weeks, it is not easy owning a minor league team so, hats off to the ownership for trying to get things fixed.

#4 Fort Wayne Tigers (3-1) vs #5 Lions (3-2)

Fort Wayne who has won basically 3 in a row, will host the 3-2 Lion’s at home this week. The Tigers coming off a shutout win over the Sharks last week, look to do the same this week. The Lions are on a one game losing streak and look to break that this week.

#8 Falcons (1-3) vs # 9 Bucs (1-3)

This is a battle to just get a win, both teams are 1-3 and have struggled.

#7 Sharks (Forfeit)

Sharks will get a win this week due to a forfeit 28-0 over the Thunderhawk’s.

We will see what the results will be on Saturday nite.
