What is going on, yes, I am back to upset the masses.

What a weekend of games for the MCFL, we have another team folding, one team still undefeated and several other happenings. Let’s get into it.

Week 6 Power Rankings

  1. Bird Gang 5-0-1
  2. LCW 4-1-1NC
  3. Indy Bison 4-1
  4. FT W Tigers 4-1
  5. Hurricanes 2-2-1
  6. Sharks 3-2
  7. Lions 3-3
  8. Falcons 2-3
  9. Bucs 1-4

Disclaimer-These rankings do not reflect the league or affiliated with the league in any way shape or form so don’t get offended, upset, mad it’s not that deep.

#1 Bird Gang (4-0-1) 32 vs #3 Indy Bison (4-1) 24

Well, anyone who does not live under a rock knew this would be competitive game and that part did not disappoint. The game seemed to go back and forth for 4 quarters and would end up tied and go into overtime, the Bird Gang would eventually get pass the tough Bison defense to score in OT and take home the victory 32-24. That takes the Bird Gang into the second half of the season still undefeated and have a bye week to rest and get ready for the River City Sharks. The Bison have been rolling through the teams on the schedule since week 1 until this week vs the Bird Gang, however they will be back on track to get the second half started and finish strong with the remaining schedule. They are off this week as they were supposed to play the Thunderhawk’s so they will get the 28-0 win this week to get them back in the win column.

#2 LCW (4-1-1) vs Indy Assassins (Folded)

Well not much to say about this except we all probably never would of seen this happening, but it did, and the Assassins are no longer, LCW gets the 28-0 victory. They will travel to the Sharks this coming weekend for an out of conference match -up.

#4 Ft Wayne Tigers (4-1) 38 #7 Leyden Lions (3-3)

The Lions made the long trip to Fort Wayne to take on the FT Wayne Tigers and Tigers would take control from first snap and not look back. The Tigers travel to Michigan to take on the Hurricanes, assuming that the air quality gets better and the wildfires in Canada calm down will determine if the game gets played or not. The Lions will host the Falcons.

#5 Hurricanes (2-2-1) Bye Week

#6 Sharks (3-2) 28-0 Forefit Win

#8 Falcons (2-3) 38 vs #9 Bucs (1-4) 14

The Falcons showed up and handled business as the Bucs continue to struggle this season. Falcons will take on the Lions and the will get a win and a rest as they were supposed to travel to the Assassins this week.

That about does it for the recap of week 6 MCFL. It is officially the second part of the season, and we shall see who can make a push to the playoffs and were they will land. But we can talk about that next time.
